I have suffered from allergies since the time I was a little kid. Allergic to ragweed, pollen, dust mites, dogs and more, I received allergy shots in elementary school, and used a combination of prescription and over-the-counter remedies during my teens and 20s. These interventions brought slight relief. But I lived with stuffiness while sleeping, a drippy nose all morning long, and a regular need to blow my nose. And 4 - 6 times a year, my allergies would turn into a cold. Autumn was always the worst. I remember because I was sick with an awful cold and earache for nearly every birthday I had as a kid.
I'm going to share with you the 5 strategies - I saved the best one for last - to keep your allergies away. They are all super easy to do, and easy to keep up, especially once you notice the symptoms disappear.
STRATEGY 1: Essential oils for opening nasal passages. Ravintsara, Green Cumin, Helichrysum, and Peppermint oils are my personal favorites. I carry them around mixed in a bottle with a rollerball applicator so I can just swipe them around the inside of my nasal passages. I've developed an Allergy Relief paack of these Wisdom of the Earth oils here for you convenience.
STRATEGY 2: Quercitin supplementation. Quecertin is an antioxidant and found in apple skins and onions. It's amazing for allergies. I found that I needed two caps a day to keep allergies at bay.
An important note about supplements: IMO professional-grade supplementation was more effective in my body than the stuff I picked up at the Vitamin Shoppe. Based on my education and 10-year experience working for a large global pharmaceutical company, I also believe that you should purchase the highest-quality product available. As a healthcare provider, I have access to higher quality supplements than you do at your local store.
If you are looking for th purest form, enroll in my e-dispensary for convenient ordering. Go to my FAVORITES to locate the Quercitin.
STRATEGY 3: Real-whole-food-based anti-inflammatory supplementation. An allergy sufferer needs anti-inflammatories. They're one ingredient in your OTC and Rx. I recommend anti-inflammatory support made from real, whole foods like turmeric and ginger. Here's my absolute favorite anti-inflammatory. Once you log in, go to my FAVORITES to locate ZYFLAMEND. I take two in the morning.
Strategy 4: Homeopathic support. I am not trained in homeopathics. Your best course of action would be to seek someone who is. However, I will share with you that I am drawn to the science of homeopathic and have had great success managing personal physical injuries, colds and food poisoning symptoms with it. If you are unfamiliar with it, check it out. Not surprisingly, the NIH isn't a fan, but here is the web site of a 30+ year old organization that believes in the value of homeopathic remedies. Like anything, you do your research and make the decision that is right for you.
Strategy 5: FOOD SENSITIVITY TESTING.
I knew my food was linked to my allergies because when I eliminated wheat from my diet, my allergy symptoms improved by 50%. But it still wasn't enough for me. I wanted 99% improvement!
After completing a food sensitivity panel, the results suggested that I should remove caffeine, onion and corn from my diet. And to continue to stay away from wheat. This did the trick. Within 4 days, I noticed an improvement, and within 7 days my symptoms of more than 3 decades vanished. I could barely believe it. I know this to be true for me because when I eat corn chips and salsa (onions), because of course I tried, the next morning, I was a snot head.
These foods cause a mediated reaction in MY body. I've worked with other clients who may experience a negative reaction to a wide variety of foods, such as dairy, garlic, eggs, even oatmeal and bananas. Sometimes the foods we think of as "healthy" are not appropriate for our bodies.
The question you are asking: How do I do food sensitivity testing?
The answer is through me!

I want you to schedule your complimentary 20-minute phone session with me to see if you, or someone in your family, is a good candidate for this test. It has also shown excellent results for reducing headaches and/or migraines.
